An inmate due to go on trial next week has today pleaded guilty for his part in an alleged jailhouse murder

The 39-year-old with name suppression has appeared at the High Court in Auckland today.
He was charged with murdering Blake John Lee at Auckland Prison in Paremoremo in March last year.
Corrections previously said the alleged attack on Lee took place in the prison yard.
The man will be sentenced in August.
