Amy Adams is headed to the Old West with her next producing project.
The six-time Oscar nominee's Bond Group Entertainment and A24 have landed rights to Anna North's novel
Outlawed and will develop it for television.
The novel, which debuted at No. 6 on the New York Times best-seller list following its Jan. 5 publication, centers on a young midwife who's initiated into the notorious Hole in the Wall gang and becomes part of their mission to transform the West. The feminist spin on the Western has received strong reviews and is the January pick for the Belletrist and Reese Witherspoon book clubs.
