Amtrak shared its vision for Vermont travel to major cities in a new map published Wednesday.
President Joe Biden revealed his American Jobs Plan Wednesday, which includes an $80 billion allocation to Amtrak for the service's "backlog of repairs, improvements and expansion." The rail service published a map Wednesday of routes, including those in Vermont, assuming it receives the funds. Vermont officials recently announced hopes for Amtrak's return in the coming months after service for the two routes in the state was suspended due to COVID last year.
