Butterworth-based Emmanuel High School is now home to the SA Police Service’s Eastern Cape junior provincial commissioner. Fourteen-year-old Amila Febana was awarded the title and trophy at the school on Friday after competing in the police’s anti-crime programme. The award forms part of the police’s youth crime-prevention flagship initiative, the Junior National Commissioner Project, in which Amila competed in a series of tasks against other high school pupils from across the province.
