Hundreds of families living at the Kamgar Putala slum, one of the oldest slums located in the heart of the city near the district and sessions court in Shivajinagar, have approached the Bombay High Court (HC) against their alleged relocation to Lohegaon — 15 km away — under the slum rehabilitation scheme.
