ROME, N.Y. – AmeriCU and its members raised $12,000 to help upstate hospitals involved with the Children’s Miracle Network.
The member donations were matched through CO-OP Financial Services.
The funds went to Mohawk Valley Health System in Utica, Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital in Syracuse and the Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown.
“We wanted to let these families know that we’re thinking about them during what could be a very difficult time in their life,” said Julie Tramacera-Miri, community relations specialist for AmeriCU. “We’re grateful that we could not only provide the children with a little distraction, but also a sense of comfort and support during their stay.”
