ALICE KEEFE INTRODUCES US TO ONE FAMILY - USING THE EVENT TO CELEBRATE A NEW BEGINNING. THE AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION'S ANNUAL 5K WAS EXTRA SPECIAL THIS YEAR FOR THE MINERVINO FAMILY. ((NAT)) THEIR STORY BEGINS WITH THE BIRTH OF HENRY - WHO'S NOW 7 YEARS OLD... AND WAS BORN WITH A HEART MURMUR 7:25:41-48 TYPICALLY HEAR MURMURS ARE REALLY COMMON IN CHILDREN BUT I JUST FELT REALLY DIFFERENTLY ABOU THE WAY HIS HEART WAS FUNCTIONING. THIS JANUARY, LENA LEARNED HER INTUITION, WAS SPOT ON. 7:25:52-26HENRY WAS DIAGNOSED WITH PATENT DUCTUS ARTERIOSUS WHICH MEANS THAT HE WAS BORN WITH A HOLE IN HIS HEART THAT SHOULD'VE CLOSED AT BIRTH SO TWO DAYS AFTER HIS 7TH BIRTHDAY, HENRY HAD AN AMPLATZER DEVICE IMPLANTED INTO HIS HEART THROUGH THE FEMORAL ARTERY. 7:26:05-13WE WERE OVERNIGHT IN THE HOSPITAL FOR ONE EVENING AND WENT HOME THE NEXT DAY AND HE'S BACK TO NORMAL THIS YEAR'S VIRTUAL 5K, FOR THEM, IS A CELEBRATION 727:40-50 JUST KNOWING THAT ANY DAMAGE THAT COULD'VE CONTINUED TO HAPPEN IN HIS HEART HAS CEASED BECAUSE OF JUST IMPLANTING ONE SIMPLE DEVICE AND CLOSING UP THAT HOLE ITS JUST A
