A new Dating.com survey finds that more and more singles are embracing the belfie – a selfie of their bottom. 64% of singles say they’ve sent an online match at least one belfie over the last year. 36% say they’ve never taken a belfie, but of those who haven't more than half would be willing to try it.
Women are more likely than men to send a belfie (59% vs. 41%).
75% say belfies have helped improve their self-esteem and overcome their insecurity.
This is compared to selfies, which only 40% of people say improve their self-esteem and overcome insecurity.
In fact, 60% of folks believe selfies do the exact opposite.
