ALYAA Abdulghany made history as the first Malaysian golfer to be selected for the Arnold Palmer Cup International team.
She will play in the prestigious competition on Dec 21-23 at the Bay Hill Club and Lodge in Orlando, Florida.
Alyaa, a senior at University of Southern California, is ranked 34th in the World Golf Amateur Golf Ranking.
The 21-year-old, who also played in the Sea Games in the Philippines last year, won this year's Australian Master of the Amateurs and made the quarterfinals of the US Women's Amateur Championship.
