Alton man charged with possession of stolen gun

EDWARDSVILLE — An Alton man charged last week with delivering cocaine to a confidential informant was charged Tuesday for having a stolen gun.
Darrell D. Booth, 32, of Alton, was charged July 28 with unlawful possession of a stolen firearm, a Class 2 felony.
This comes after he was charged July 23 with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance on July 23.
The latest charge was presented by the Alton Police Department.
According to court documents, on July 27 Booth allegedly was found to be in possession of a stolen . .40 caliber Smith & Wesson handgun.
