TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — What originally started as the “Day of Action” has now morphed into “Serve the Valley”.
Different groups were stationed in various locations around the Wabash Valley for service projects. Maryland Community Church and the United Way of the Wabash Valley along with hundreds of volunteers. Landscaping at the Wabash Activity Center which serves the older adults in the community.
“Everybody’s going to love it. It just look so pretty out there and everybody will make a comment and it just makes them feel, it makes them feel real good,” executive director for the Wabash Activity Center Michelle Inman said. “It’s great to be able to partner with everybody in the community.”
