There's a homecoming at Cities 97.1, which has announced it's bringing back Brian Oake to be its new weekday Morning Show host.
The radio veteran became one of the Twin Cities' best known DJs during his time at what was then Cities 97, serving as its afternoon drive-time host from 2001 before becoming the Morning Show co-host in 2012 alongside Keri Noble.
His latest tenure at Cities started Monday, and going forward he'll be the host of the station's flagship 6-10 a.m. weekday slot.
