Allison Joyce. Allison Joyce is a multi-award-winning American photojournalist. Currently based in North Carolina, Allison has lived and worked in South Asia for over 10 years, with a particular focus on Bangladesh and India. Her work ranges from news coverage of conflict and humanitarian crises to documenting everyday life and developing long-term projects on gender issues, human rights, and climate change. Her work has appeared in publications such as The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, National Geographic, The Guardian, TIME, NPR, Al Jazeera, Bloomberg, Getty Images, Associated Press, and Reuters, among others.
