It was an uncertain year for the City of Alliance, as the coronavirus pandemic changed the way people functioned in their day-to-day lives. Despite the pandemic's effects on health, business and the economy, the city made progress with several development projects that it looks to continue in 2021.
Alliance development activity
Director of Planning and Development Joe Mazzola said the pandemic did not significantly affect the city in terms of development activity.
"Those things that were on the drawing table before the pandemic hit proceeded," Mazzola said. "Some were delayed a month or two, but everything has gone through as we had anticipated."
