Alleged N80billion Fraud: HEDA Threatens Lawsuit Against Association Of National Accountants Of Nigeria Over Failure To Investigate, Sanction Suspended Accountant-General, Idris Ahmed

Anti-corruption group, the Human and Environmental Development Agenda, (HEDA Resource Centre), has threatened to sue the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria over its failure to investigate and sanction suspended Accountant General of the Federation, Idris Ahmed, who is being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. SaharaReporters had in May reported how Idris was arrested in Kano after he failed to respond to invitations by the EFCC to answer questions over the allegation of N80 billion fraud.
