OGDENSBURG — All students in the Ogdensburg City School district will shift to remote learning after a staff member at John F. Kennedy Elementary School tested positive for COVID-19.
“Unfortunately, we have been informed that a staff member at John F. Kennedy Elementary School has tested positive for COVID-19,” district officials said in a post on their Facebook page. “As a result, we will be pivoting ALL DISTRICT SCHOOLS to fully remote instruction beginning tomorrow, December 16, 2020, until school resumes on January 4, 2021.”
The announcement was made Tuesday.
The school closed OFA only one day prior due to COVID, but attempted to keep their other buildings open.
