Containment grows to 87%

All evacuation warnings and orders have been lifted around the Willow Fire in Monterey County. According to the U.S. Forest Service Monday morning the fire was 87% contained and had burned 2,877 acres. In total, 100 homes and 25 commercial buildings were threatened by the fire at its peak size. The Los Padres National Forest is reminding the public that fires are not allowed anywhere in the forest except at developed campsites and inside fire rings.
