Wimbledon in the center stage as men pushed for a stage on the final but the womens final at the all england club and williams will be there and details coming up. Well, we begin this news hour in yemen where the countrys government in exile and Houthi Rebels agreed to a ceasefire, the weeklong truce was brokered by the u. N. And allow aid agencies to deliver humanitarian supplies and its the latest tackle of the crisis since houthis took control of the capitol sanaa forcing president hadi out of the city and a Saudiled Coalition of arab states launched air strikes against the houthis so with civil casualties mounting they warn that yemen is on the verge of total collapse. 21 Million People need humanitarian assistance. And the u. N. Backed negotiations to find a solution to the conflict have so far failed and the fiveday ceasefire in may was violated. Well the u. N. Say that both sides have now promised to respect this latest ceasefire. And we have the report. Reporter humanitarian aid trickled in the yemen capitol sanaa and will provide desperately needed assistance to hundreds of families forced to leave their homes, in a temporary ceasefire means that aid will reach other areas and most of the road access is under the control of houthi fighters. During the humanitarian pause humanitarian agencies and partners aim to reach people in need with essential medicine vaccination, food and water and if they have the advocate access aid agencies plan to stockpile supplies throughout yemen including supplies for acutely malnourished children and sanitation and medical supplies which could benefit 2. 3 Million People in food for 1. 2 Million People for one month. Reporter it took the u. N. Envoy much convincing to reach a brief humanitarian pause in the fighting and statements from both the houthi leadership and yemens government in exile make it clear that hostilities are far from over. Translator i would like to say that this road is the last with the houthis and sanaa forces and 2 1 2 months ago they were offered a sixday truce and another opportunity in geneva, here they have one more chance by the u. N. And International Community, we all reacted positively to the truce in order to send humanitarian aid to the people. Reporter ships like this with food, fuel and essential supplies can finally make it to places like aiden and further in land and by air and small boats have made it through but the bulk remains undedelivered and with the saudiled blockade the attempts to send chips failed because of security. One would hope this particular ceasefire lasting maybe a little bit longer if indeed its honored by all sides. Reporter the people of yemen can only hope all parties not just honor this agreement but find ways to end the conflict. Al jazeera. For more we are joined from london, a political analyst and former advisor to yemens Foreign Ministry and thank you for joining us the u. N. Envoy to yemen say he is very optimistic about the agreement, what are your thoughts about it . Well i hope he is right because they have reached a truce and this is the second truce that they have reached the u. N. As reached but at the same time some people are skeptical about the last number one. Number two are there other details we dont know about which would put down some of the fears of both parties for instance the houthis are afraid they would be attacked by dash and alqaeda and at the same time the government believes that the houthis will take this as a chance to reposition themselves and deploy their forces so lets hope seriously that they did actually work on some of these details and then there are some guarantees at the same time there are some monitoring as well. Are you surprised it even got this far after the last one broke down . Do you think there is a lot more going on in the background that people are actually talking . I think there was a lot of effort done or being done actually and i think that probably additional to the special envoy of the United Nations there sis facilitation they have been doing so i think to some extent yes. And i think both parties need this truce for various reasons. I hope they are the right reasons. Why do you say that . Why does each party need a truce, what are they going to get out of it . Number one, of course the people and the humanitarian situation is in dire need for this truce. Now and almost 80 of the population needs care, medical care and need food and they need water, clean water and et cetera. At the same time the war that has been taking place has taken the lives of many of the people as well as the situation, the inside war and the outside war. So definitely the two parties need that at the same time for humanitarian reasons and at the same time for to catch their breath and to think i think they need to contemplate the need to reflect on what they have achieved so far. This war has not made them progress in any way and there is no winner, there is no winner and there is no loser so far. We are seeing pictures on the screen of the scale, some of the scale of the humanitarian situation there. Its absolutely dire. But just going on from what you have just said there how do the two sides pull back how do you go about that . We need to save face and they need to save face and im sure they wont stop the war but at the same time they do not want to stop unless they have guaranteed number one. Number two they are safe they are especially the houthis and baghdad forces. They need to feel they are not going to be eliminated from the peace process, they need to be and feel safe that alqaeda and dash is not going to take revenge on them. There is not some operations taking place by these two terrorist groups. At the same time the people and the government needs to go back and to govern so these details have to be worked out, will the houthis withdraw from aiden and from thai and some of the reasons and the withdraw and there may be a security vacuum in that case and details need to be worked only and i hope they are looking into it. Thank you very much joining us there from london. Bringing you some breaking news we are getting from germany, its been reported by the roiters news agency that police in germany are currently chasing a man who is suspected of shooting two people from his car near to the southern town of lucioushousen and a spokesperson said he killed a women and shot dead a cyclist and we are monitoring and will bring you more when we get it here at al jazeera. Moving on to our other top story the greek government has submitted a new plan to creditors, the 13page document is designed to save the country from financial collapse and studied by eu ministers and sunday they are set to decide if greece has done enough. The greek government promising to raise taxes and clamp down on tax evasion and discourage people from retiring early and also seek Higher Health contributions from pensioners. Greece will then sell off its remaining share in telecom and prioritize the ports and its also offering to cut more than 300 million from the military budget by next year. This is familiar, people trying to get money from those atm machines. The Greek Parliament is currently being asked to authorize the latest version of the rescue plan that has been proposed by the Prime Minister and he could face opposition from hard line members within his own party who reject any form of austerity. Lets get the latest and cross straight to athens and speak to john and the likelihood of that being passed by the parliament, john . Well, i think we have to hold off judgment until we see what the final mix is going to be that is brought to parliament. At the moment parliamentary committees are looking at the list of what are called prior actions, basically commitments by the greek government but thats the more painful document. The Prime Minister is hopeful he is also going to bring home enormous 35 billion Euro Development package of european money that would be spent in greece that is triple the cost of the austerity that greece would be committing to so it would be amably compensated and he is also promising to bring to greece a debt rescheduling. If that happens of course it will have resolved the biggest problem, accompanying these bailouts which is the fact that even if the greek does balance its books the debt is ultimately unsustainable. So if all of that is brought in then the chances obviously dramatically improved because the bailout will then have fixed major issues of the past which creditors have so far refused to address. John, we will leave it there for now, thank you very much. Many businesses are facing closure in the port because they are either not being paid or they cant pay their own bills. And we have been meeting and attempting to take control of their own future. Reporter its a model of organization. A factory that was doomed if it wasnt for the ingenuity of its workers. And so it went from producing Building Materials like grout and acrylics to making soaps and cleaning products. Translator we were working with chemicals and wanted to produce something that was cheap and affordable for the people. Reporter sold in several European Countries with a label proudly stating made by workers who refuse to fall into unemployment and depression. Because back in august 2011 they had effectively lost their jobs even though never officially fired. What happened here is very telling about how things went wrong in greece where its often a fine line between personal interest and business. The owner of this factory was the owner and things were not doing well there and money from here was injected there and within weeks from each other they both shut down. It was a shock. He came to work one morning only to find the doors locked and management gone. Translator of course it was a surprise. We were still working. The boss knew what was happening and planned and took all the money and left us without paying us. We are earning less but we dont have bosses anymore. Reporter decisions are now taking collectively and alexis doesnt want to be asked about management anymore. Translator cut this word out of your question. Its a business and we have to learn but no one takes a decision alone, we dont have bosses. We are all equals. Reporter many factories shut down in greece since the crisis began and this is the only one still functioning in this area on the outskirts. The rest is more or less an industrial waste land. The workers first learned to make soap on the internet. A fresh start that saved their factory from becoming part of the many ruins of modern greece. Al jazeera. Security officials from india and pakistan will meet in new deli to discuss how the two countries can combat terrorism, a major Diplomatic Development and follows the first meeting between india and pakistan leaders since talks broke down last year and modi and zarif met on the sidelines in russia on thursday and modi agreed to attend a regional summit in pakistan next year. So lets take a look at those issues in the Nuclear Armed rivals fought three wars since independence, two of them have been over kashmir and kashmir is claimed by both india and pakistan and a flash point for more than 60 years despite a ceasefire in place since 2003. At the heart of this conflict is water and security of the two countries with rapidly growing populations, india and pakistan have been building dams on rivers that originate in kashmir and relations grew worse following the 2008 mumbai attacks and pakistani suspect released on bail in april of this year which india described as unfortunate and disappointing. And kamal is live for us in islamabad so what has made them come together at this point and leave behind at the disappointments of last year kamal . Well perhaps a lot of behind the scenes diplomacy and possibly the russian and chinese also weighing in on the indians but because the tensions were mounding between these two countries they were increasing violations of the ceasefire pakistan alleging that the indians were shelling inside pakistan territories on the working boundary as well as the line of control. So the meeting itself is now seen as a major step forward, although many issues still remain between these two countries as you mentioned earlier and those have to be tackled and the first step the National Security advisors are going to be meeting in new deli to discuss terrorism, after that the Border Security force, pakistans rangers who takes care of the border they will be meeting with the director general military operations are likely to meet also so a lot of suggestions from two sides but the most important thing will be to see if there is any tangible Progress Given the fact that pakistan has been accusing india of direct involvement as far as support for some of the terrorists and separatists groups are concerned in pakistan. We will leave it there thank you very much. Still to come in the news hour pope francis continues his latin american tour a community in conflict and we meet the men in south sudan who switch from the farm to the front line. Also we will see what pope francis is doing while we investigate why the Catholic Church is leaving its influence inside bolivia jails and in sport you can find out if the open championship favorite jordan smith has form a week out from the tournament. Now the u. S. Secretary of state threatened to walk away from Nuclear Talks with iran if decisions are not made soon and john kerrys comments followed tough negotiations in vienna and diplomatic editor james base is there. Do you think that the pressure is now really been piled on to iran by the u. S. And of course the european negotiators . I think there is certainly pressure on iran but there is pressure on the other parties at these negotiations because there is certainly not a united front certainly on one of the issues within the so called p 5 plus 1, those are the six countries negotiating with iran. The five permanent members of the u. N. Security council and germany and seems to be a split there between the western countries and russia and china and its all an issue that we have been talking about throughout all of the time we have been here in vienna which is about the sanctions, the lifting of the sanctions, exactly which sanctions would be lifted when and specifically on the arms embargo on iran that is not really directly linked to nuclear in some ways and not an actual nuclear sanction but it was put in place at the same time of Irans Nuclear program and that is one of the sticking points and trying to resolve the sticking points we had another meeting taking place in the last couple of hours between the u. S. Secretary of state john kerry, foreign minister zarif and the eu Foreign Policy chief and they sat down for about an hour going through the issues. We didnt get a proper readout of what was achieved in that meeting but what we did do is see foreign minister zarif come out on to his balcony in the hotel and that always gives the reporters a chance to shout questions. We get very limited answers obviously because we are a long way away but he made it clear he didnt think there was going to be a deal today and he felt it was likely that his delegation and the others will be here most of the weekend. Okay, james base we will leave it there, thank you very much. Now the three west african nations worst effected by ebola are pushing for financial help so they can recover. The leaders of liberia, guinea and sierra leone are attending a donor meeting in new york to raise billions of dollars but events there could be over shadowed by a surge in new infections and science editor explains. Reporter for the last 18 months ebola has ravaged west africa killing more than 11,000 people. Some areas have been declared free of the virus but here in the west of guinea near the border with sierra leone the village is still under quarantine quarantine. Translator there is a Health Control on every road where thermo scanners monitor the people if they suspect a case they are sent to medical center. Reporter the red cross oversees the burial of victims. Deaths are down from the height of the epidemic at the still threat of infection from those who have died. Translator for the moment we cannot determine the exact number of bodies but at the start of the day there were 16 dead to bury by evening we had more, about 27 to bury we managed to bury 24 of them. Reporter this part of guinea has been a hotspot for ebola and with every new case there is a continuing risk the virus could make a come back. And fully resourced before the outbreak ebola devastated Health Systems in the region and Health Workers were found to be 30 times more likely to catch the virus and more than 500 died leaving hospitals short of qualified and committed staff. Earlier this month Health Workers in liberia protested against the government. They say the president promised bonus money for those who agreed to treat ebola sufferers but this has never been paid. Translator she made a promise we were going to get benefits and risk benefits so that is why we are here. If i will get my risk benefit im willing to work the second time. Im praying that ebola will not come but if ebola comes im willing to work. Reporter keeping Health Workers on board is a critical part of efforts to rebuild Health Systems in the region. Money is also needed. Guinea liberia and sierra leone asked owners for over 2 billion for the job and pledges remain 700 million short. Without that money they fear ebola could return to the region and again become ap threat to global health. Al jazeera. Chinas stock market are rising strongly for a second day void by Government Support measures and Interest Rates have been cut and brokers have been told to buy stocks backed bicarb from the central bank and we have the update from beijing. After a second day of gains in the main chinese stock market a bit of optimism here on beijings financial street and some told us even though they lost money they are not going to sell their stocks for now. Translator i think the market will bounce back. I will decide later if i want to stay in the stock market or pull out. I dont think it will stay like this forever. I still have hope. Translator most of the individual investors lost money. Its better to leave investing to professionals. Chinese people like gambling. There is not enough Investment Education in china and have not been through enough modern day markets, this is a good lesson for them. But its far from over. This is the building where they make the policies that govern the stock markets here in china. Now its still left to be determined, obviously what they have done is stop the massive sell off in the markets here but is it a bandaid or is it a longterm fix . That clear picture is not going to come to view until all the stocks are brought back into the stock market because right now there still is half the stocks that we were trading before the crisis have halted and then we will know just how bad this crisis really is. Reporter thousands of tourists stranded after they forced five airports to close and east java sprayed debris four kilometers in the air and highest level of alert over increased activity over the last couple of days. Thailand is experiencing one of the worst droughts in decades putting the multibillion dollar rice export industry at risk and government pilots are now seeding clouds to force moisture out of them and we have more from bangkok. Reporter from the air the problem is plain to see, hundreds of square kilometers of Agricultural Land is drying up across thailand and its been like this for months. There has been no sign of annual rains that should have arrived by now. Fields that should be plenty with rice are practically dry and nationwide the crop is now being declared a failure. Government department of rain making are trying to make it rain using chemicals sprayed from the sky. Translator not only the Central Region but every province throughout the country is facing a drought because of weather changing severely and part is due to el nino. Reporter little rain has fallen since last year and irrigation canals and dams cannot help and villages are worried about Falling Water levels. Translator around one week this canal will dry out and rice fields inside there are almost ready to harvest and there will be a lot of damage, some of the farmers have already invested a lot of money in them. Reporter government officials in bangkok have been explaining how serious the drought is becoming and what solutions they have. Translator another measure is we have asked other government bodies army and local administration to help people. This is to make sure everyone has water for daily usage equally. Reporter with no rain in sight some have to keep working the land planting next seasons crop is vital to their existence. Other countries such as taiwan and north and south korea have been experiencing differing levels of drought and farmers in thailand anxious that the rains that should be falling now are not predicted to arrive until the beginning of august. So with al jazeera, bank cock. We get to catch up with the World Weather now and rob is with me typhoon season is getting very active isnt it . All of a sudden about a week ago we had four and i think yesterday three left and one disappeared last night and we got two and one major one at shanghai and the pictures were lovely with three eyes in a row and these are major typhoons and this was a smaller one that went over land and more or less fell apart and brought with it Gale Force Winds and torrential rain and up the coast from hong kong and the amount of damage it can do is minor damage but a worthy storm and did go across hong kong. Now that is more or less completely disappeared now and just a few thunderstorms left. So we concentrate now on the more major storm by eye visible there. This was happening just recently on the north of the island of taiwan. So this is preparation if you like nothing much happening, however, this is a major typhoon until recently a category four and its now a category three and the winds are sustained at 200 Kilometers Per Hour and gusting 250 and moving quite quickly to the northwest and it will be a major impact on chinese post and go across shanghai before disappearing in the yellow sea so for 2448 hours this whole area of eastern china is going to be covered in rain, strong wind the other thing is weakening in italy but think its a damaging storm. Okay rob thank you very much for that and watching the weather closely and still to come in the news hour gaps in the ranks why the u. S. Army is about to get smaller. And in china where concerns over food safety are getting people involved in a rather productive hobby. And mexicos footballers open with a victory over cuba and robin has all of that and the rest of the sport coming up. And reminder of the top stories on al jazeera the u. N. Reporter in times of trouble it is young men called to the front line since conflict started and they call themselves the white army. And he was injured in may while fighting the oil fields by the north and says once he gets better he will return. Translator im not afraid to go back. When Children Women and people like me are being told how can i be afraid. Reporter he told his wife he and many others will join the resistance army. Translator what i like about the white army is when we were ready we are not like the regular soldiers who have to stand in military formation and wait for orders. Reporter they are in villages and elders in the village. Translator when we are going to war no one helps us. We go with one gun. When we kill the enemy we take their gun. And we go on taking their guns until we defeat them or they defeat us. Reporter what started out as a political quarrel in the capitol duba turned into a war between the two largest tribes the dinka and many people you talk to will tell you they are fighting those who they claim are filling them and say they are just trying to protect their lives and their property and wont stop until everyone is safe. The malitia has also been accused of human rights abuses. Rebel commanders here say they are trying to integrate the local Defense Forces into their army. Catherine with al jazeera in rebel held Upper Nile State. 40,000 u. S. Army soldiers are to be made redundant in the next three years and military commanders forced to save money but critics warn that u. S. Security would be weakened. From washington d. C. Roslyn jordan has more. The core of the u. S. Military is about to shrink in three years time the number of u. S. Army soldiers will drop from 490,000 to 450,000. That is what the pentagon is calling a Necessary Force reduction. These cuts will impact nearly every Army Installation both in the continental United States and overseas. Reporter the cuts come even as top generals are monitoring what they consider the most potent threats to the u. S. My assessment today senator is russia presents the greatest threat to National Security. Reporter during the height of the u. S. Led wars in iraq and afghanistan more than 570,000 soldiers were on the payroll, the army says it will save about 7 billion with these cuts but its annual budget is still sizable at 126 billion. In fact, the us spends more on defense in a year than the next seven largest militarys combine and they have more soldiers than the u. S. Washington spends five times per Service Member as they do and means u. S. Troops have better weapons and training. Some in congress warn cutting troop levels is dangerous even as the army is threatening deeper cuts in the coming years and says its not the size of the military but how you use it. We ought to have approach to our security and defense that allows us to have an even smaller army than this and not get into occupational warfare in countries like iraq and afghanistan and would be safe with a much smaller army than we have today. Reporter the Obama Administration says it wants to make better use of its defense dollars and is vetting this is not a security gamble. Roslyn jordan, al jazeera, washington. Two of canadas biggest provinces are making their own plans to tackle Climate Change and normally that is a task for National Government but with the canadian government accused of inaction in ontario and quebec is leading to action and the Climate Summit in toronto daniel lack reports. Reporter a warm welcome for the man who started Climate Change al gore and nearly ten years ago he has been warning about the impact of Greenhouse Gas emissions on the Global Climate and calling for changes to the way we generate electricity, travel and grow our economies. The answer to that second question can we change is not only yes it is yes and as we change we can lift the Global Economy and the economy in the states and provinces and cities and regions that are represented in this meeting. Reporter the combination of pledge signed by officials from north and south america to cut their own emissions. Dozens of them are attending, however canada, a country where they are meeting is not. Its federal government sent no ministers, no participants at all. We will form the largest market. Reporter instead other levels of government are taking action, here the governor of california and premiers of ontario and quebec canadas two provinces are coming together pooling their resources and emissions cuts and also a plea for national and federal authorities to get involved. We are not doing enough its clear. We are just in a very taking baby steps and many countries are not even doing that. Reporter canada helped negotiate the first major Climate Change theory but shocked the world when it withdrew in 2012. The countrys Petroleum Industry especially here in the shaktar sands of alberta has driven Economic Growth and a major source of emissions, many say canada is not playing the global role it could to halt Climate Change. My hope that the government of canada will recover very soon again the leadership because we need the big and beautiful country like canada going ahead with all of us trying to fix one of the most demanding and compelling and challenging problems we have as a human being in this century. Reporter just before the summit thousands protested against what is seen as inadequate response to Climate Change in ottawa and hope is momentum from the streets, actions from other governments and Economic Opportunities of Renewable Energies could lead to more vigorous steps to canadas government daniel lack al jazeera, toronto. Food production will be self sufficient in the country in the next ten years, however, many are wary of government assurances after a string of scandals at least 13 chinese babies died from contaminated powdered milk in 2004 at least six infants died when the scandal was repeated in 2008 and two years ago the Meat Industry was scrutinized after pork was mixed with chemicals and sold as beef, rat and fox meat was also mixed with lamb. Last year expired meat found its way into foods served by Mcdonalds Burger king and starbucks and the philippines is now running test on synthetic rice allegedly made in china from potatos and plastic. Well the lack of trust in the Food Industry means markets selling organic products are popping up all across china and we have the story from beijing. Reporter this group of visitors is not touring the usual beijing at strak shun attractions and come to the donky form to the outskirts of the city to learn about organic farming and they are growing seasonal vegetables without pesticides and visitors are welcome everyday to see it for themselves. Translator the real reason we founded the farm is food safety had become a very serious problem in china. Reporter so serious that people here are encouraged to do more than just buy organic products. For less than 300 u. S. Dollars they can lease 30 square meters of atlanta and grow their own vegetables and the farm trains them and provides the crops for them to tend until the end of season in december. She visits every week with her family. Translator when he grow our own vegetables at least we know its safer and its impossible to be completely worry free but at least its better. Reporter at five times the cost of regular vegetables it is not cheap but organic agricultural has become the rage among chinas middle classes. More and more organic markets like this are cropping up in cities like china and Delivery Services for those wanting convenience and its becoming commercial with big businesses investing billions of dollars in agricultural. But it is not about earning a profit for those tending to community farms like this one. Its about Sustainable Farming and keeping people in the cities connected to the land to remind them to take responsibility for the world they live in and the one they leave behind. Al jazeera, beijing. Well the doctor is a scientist at the World Health Organizations Food Safety Department and joins us live from geneva and thank you for joining us how worried are you at this . Its always worrying to hear about food safety issues and we are of course seeing food safety events happening all over the world on a regular basis. We would never be able to have a totally safe food supply but we can make it much safer than it is and it has been improving in terms of safety over the last decade. Our food supply today has never been safer than it is today. And yet so many of these stories seem to come out of asia and specifically china, why do you think that is what is the source of that . Yeah many reasons behind it. Dont forget the whole Food Production and Food Processing sector in china is a very new one. It has developed tremendously over the last few decades so it doesnt have a lot of traditions and it has been such a speed and such a way that Public Sector that is regulating the way the industry produces food has not gone at the same pace and it catched up in resent years but gaps to be filled. You hear about companies far away in europe or america who are sending their meat particularly to places like china to have it processed and sent back then to be cooked does it all come down to price, is in the main problem here . Its part of globalization. We have seen this tendency developing over the last few decades and also see european ships being sent to malaysia or elsewhere to be processed and then sent back. The raw material are moving all over the globe for further processing and therefore our Food Supply Chains have become very complex and very long and therefore much more complex and much more difficult to regulate and to follow this in a safe way. Quickly and im running out of time to make it succinct and how easy is it to monitor this . Of course regulations modern regulations, most countries have regulations in place now including china which has a newly revised modern safety law and food stand out and an arm, enforcement arm and food Safety Inspection workforce and food control workforce that can in a credible way ensure that the rules are being followed by everybody. And of course you need an industry that is trained, equipped and now how to process food safely and take responsibility for that. Okay, doctor thank you very much speaking to us there from geneva. To bolivia where pope francis asked for forgiveness during the spanish conquest and addressed the abusive community by the roman Catholic Church and speaking to cooperative says poor countries should not be reduced to providing cheap labor for developed countries and the pope is due to visit prisoners as we report the Catholic Churchs influence has been dwindling behind bars. They are over crowded and at times under the effective control of inmates. And this is one of the better prisons in the country but still it houses 350 people in a space designed for 150. For many years the Catholic Church more than the state helped make life more bearable. But this however, is seen by some to no longer be the case. Translator the church is no longer bringing the type of activities cultural and even sports that it used to but only coming on a few occasions to give mass. People fill a gap and in jail they especially need that spiritual support. Two years ago that need was underlined in the prison. 35 people were killed in riots. But he will tour the facility and the timeless message heard by fewer prisoners. And the church has given inmates here an sewing workshop laundry rooms and even better bathroom facilities but inmates seem to feel that spiritual guidance is lacking, a gap that the Protestant Movement is more than happy to provide. Translator they come here three times a week to give service and have a church that they themselves built and you can see it filled with people frequently. Reporter yes. Translator i no longer feel a prisoner even if im here. I freed myself of guilt and that was thanks to the holy scriptures. Reporter the retreat of the Catholic Church in the prison is due in part to lack of priests and volunteers. The church has moved in successfully to occupy spaces that traditionally belong to the Catholic Church especially in jails here in bolivia and inspirational message and constant presence in the jails led many to shift and the absence is strongly felt and criticized by members of the Catholic Church themselves. Translator we no longer have that impulse we used to get from the communities working at the base and that could give us moments of reflection coming from a small shanty or the neighborhood block. Reporter pope francis prison visit during the trip to bolivia is seen by many as signal to the fellow priests like he often says the church must become a poor church at the service of the poor lopez, al jazeera, bolivia. Stay tuned because coming up, on al jazeera is sport and double olympic champion makes a return to the track and we have action from the Diamond League in switzerland, next. The white house has hosted more than a thousand native American Youth leaders and Indian Tribes faced oppression but the new generation are being told they will be helped to achieve their goals and tom ackerman has the details. Reporter the native american teenagers came from 275 tribes across the United States proud of their heritage and convinced it remains relevant. I gave a speech telling native youth and people no matter where they came from the past and background and environment they can be whatever they want to be in life. To teach Young Children leadership skills they can bring back to their communities. Its interesting to see what other people are doing in their communities and take some of those things back to mine. Reporter at its first ever tribal youth gathering Obama Administration announced more money would be devoted to education and health services. The government is required by treaty to provide those services but in the view of most it falls short of meeting its obligations. So we are working on turning control of schools and many other things back to tribes and providing the resources needed to get the job done. Reporter on too many reservations a sense of hopelessness is driving youth suicides, a rate twice the National Average for the same age group. This year alone on the Pine Ridge Reservation in south dakota 11 young People Killed themselves and another 176 attempted suicide. At a resent u. S.
