Anger and frustration in the u. S. Over the decision not to charge any policeman over the killing of brianna taylor. And protests in Southern France over coronavirus restrictions but the governments warning of tough times ahead as the flu season combines with a spike in infections. And im peter standing with the sports including a big win for the l. A. Lakers in the n. B. A. Playoffs bron james and his teammates beat the Denver Nuggets to move just one game away from the finals. Top story he served as mollys defense minister and is a retired colonel now. Is the interim president he was sworn in just within the last couple of hours or so his inauguration comes 5 weeks after the military ousted the former president and. Will serve as president for a maximum term of 18 months until nationwide elections are held in the regional bloc of West African States has been mediating the crisis they are expected to decide later on friday whether to lift sanctions imposed after that coup. Sue me. But i am ready for all that comes before me and i will conduct my duties with constitutional legality with a look to the authorities with legitimate representation i have no other mission or intention i have to act and each of us have to bring forward our break of contribution towards our National Building because our common house has been burnt weekend into humiliated and has crumbled in its foundation for at least a decade. Well the coup was the latest event in 8 years of up he evil in mali in 2012 armed groups took control of the north and declared islamic lore before being defeated by french and African Forces aber him because he was sworn in as president a year later but he was accused of corruption mishandling the economy and failing to improve security the last straw came in april when the courts overturned some results in disputed parliamentary elections in favor of peters party now that led to months of opposition protests lets go live now to nick carter whos following developments for us from senegalese capital nick over to you. Yes weve seen exceptional ceremony in under exceptional circumstances no heads of states usually present no dignitaries there really. For malia and biology is that we saw for the 1st time the new president of transition by and out take to the stage addressing key issues the end of corruption he said and the return of the rule of law and that led to a standing ovation he also said that he will organize free and Fair Elections really challenging 18 months ahead for the president no word from the Vice President to see me was the leader of the military to who will be his right hand man during this period of transition but key for the millions is the return of the state and security especially in the north in the center of the country where theres a growing humanitarian crisis joining me now is marine mcgee from the Norwegian Refugee Council now youve been to mali youve seen the crisis there can you government bring back the state and what are the concerns for the millions who live in the regions of the north in the center of the country thank you very much for this opportunity yes ive been to mali recently and we have teams on the ground been working there for many years the concerns of mali and the car and concerns of all of us they want a safe place to live they want their kids to get a good education they want access to healthcare and the obstacles are perhaps greater than many of us the security situation and the center in the north of the country has caused more than 6000000 people to be in need of urgent humanitarian assistance that what does that mean given that we have one of the biggest u. N. Operations in history a 1000000000. 00 a year 14000 troops so much security investment over the course of a mandate and yet it seems that the all the ins have suffered and their situation is getting from bad to worse how do you explain that there has been a huge amount of attention on the situation in mali and as you say. Its been mainly from the Security Side and while security is a prerequisite to improving the situation in mali theres also need for Development People need schools people need Health Centers and theres a need for urgent humanitarian assistance just this year alone nearly 200000. 00 people have had to flee their homes and thats from our team so theres more than that and many of these people have fled their homes to and even 3 times the region of is this year the place where theres been the most attacks not in mali but in this hell as a whole how does that were does that mean in terms of trying to access those regions are you able to provide that help that the millions need in the center and in the north access remains a challenge throughout the central to how in mali weve had relative levels of success the key is that our teams are from the local communities they work with the local communities they ask the local communities what do they need and how can we get there we have a great example before cove it of how we were able to reopen schools which have been closed for years we speak with the religious leaders we speak with all of the stakeholders in order to understand what do they need but now we are afraid schools have been closed due to cove it will these schools reopen and when they reopen will parents be able to send their girls in particular back to school when we get from the Norwegian Refugee Council thank you very much thats the challenge for the new government i mean the new president was 70 years old hes supposed to represent the aspiration of a population 60 percent of them under the age of 25 they havent been in schools hospitals are underfunded thats the concern for many millions and and to see this return of trust between the money and people and their leadership that is the challenge ahead for the leadership were still waiting for the west african body ecowas there are sanctions in place against mali the borders remain closed and transaction Financial Transactions are not happening so were waiting to hear from the chair of the west african body the canadian president. To see if sanctions will be lifted following this swearing in ceremony peter thanks very much nicholas im going to go. And in the sport with peter lynch is another attack of the boss is a boss a loner over their treatment of a teammate. In france because the parents government has warned its in a race against time to stop the spread of coronavirus its reported a daily record 16000 new infections protesters in moscow you condemn government leaders in paris for ordering bars and restaurants to close for 2 weeks restrictions are also being imposed in other cities as hospital struggle to cope with increasing numbers of cope with 19 patients speak to. Correspondent joining us here on the news out of our bureau in paris sasha these numbers are going in precisely the wrong direction. Yes more than 16000 registered cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours here in france and more than 50 deaths so its obviously a cause for concern some doctors are saying of course there are more people being tested and lots of playing a factor in these rising numbers that the last apartment social class tax says the people should be extremely vigilant he says hes warning that falls is running out of time to control the situation he says if the situation doesnt come under control that we see some sort of reversal in those numbers or we could face in the next few weeks even sooner who knows is a prospect of another national nocked are not something that the government really ruled out until now the government been very adamant that they. Well to try and avoid going down that path but the Prime Minister there really warning if the situation is serious weve also seen some cities in france where the virus is circulating a lot more than in other places particularly in the Southern City of not saying that is why the government have decided to impose stricter rules there move restrictions on people being able to gather the government also saying the bars and restaurants were shut completely food 2 weeks well that has not been received well at all by a restaurant and bar owners in musee many saying that is completely unfair and reasonable they say its not necessary they say they were consulted the government say that is absolutely necessary in order to protect Peoples Health and try and stop the spread of the virus in the city and. Rates of infection in france being reflected in other european countries. What it is a very similar picture across several countries in europe we are seeing infection rates rise weve seen that in the netherlands and germany both countries are recording record numbers in the last 24 hours spain has been battling an outbreak in the Capital Region already a few days ago authorities that had imposed some partial lockdowns or several districts that have not extended those powerful knockdowns urging people to stay home to more than a 1000000 people in the capital again people in spain in that area saying that perhaps those restrictions are necessary theyre worried that they were going to go to work they are worried about the economy but what were seeing across europe is this real problems that governments are trying to make between keeping the economy going but of course in the same time trying to protect people south natasha thank you very much natasha paris correspondent there with the latest on the coronavirus. Will certain is urging people to limit social gatherings to avoid a 2nd wave of covert 19 a spike in cases has prompted Health Officials to ask the public to avoid private parties crowded places and to work from home schools and restaurants well they do remain open but plans to live to 50 person limit on gatherings have been to spawn. A closer look at whether swedens model is sustainable. 6 months after sweden triggered its Coronavirus Response stockholm in the autumn doesnt look too different from stockholm in the spring while other countries go in and out of lockdown the swedes have stayed open throughout the pandemic but a large decline in covert 19 cases came to an end this week with 533 reported on thursday the highest daily number since early july. Then. The caution that existed in the spring has more and more been replaced by hugs parties and everyday life that for many seems to be a return to normal from one of the worlds highest covert 19 writes in the summer sweden says drop below countries that imposed lock downs like france the u. K. And spain they have been just a handful of recommendations under strict sions in place and despite this weeks new cases the government says it isnt planning to get harsher just yet schools have stayed open since march and mosques are arrest site even during rush hour. This has become very common in most of the world but in sweden virtually no one wears a mask the Health Agency doesnt recommend them saying it can make people more careless about social distancing. Individual responsibility and sustainability are the pillars of the swedish model although they shy away from admitting herd immunity as a major targets for most decisions the government defers to the Health Agencies chief epidemiology just understand you know. The number of cases down when you stay in long term regulation in place or when you go in and out of the plans main program but as we know most were homophobic in the low income care facilities it was the devastation of elderly care homes that was behind most of the countrys nearly 6000 deaths to date critics now say it wasnt just the lack of a lockdown that was the problem the government together with authorities was asking us doctors to palliative really plan to give and states treatment to otherwise Healthy People with risk factors to give them more freedom. Instead of oxygen because we dont have oxygen in care homes thousands of elderly have died without oxygen that could have been otherwise saved. The care home watch dog house since reported that mistakes were made as sweden recorded more deaths than its 3 nordic neighbors combined but now denmark a short drive over the bridge from has overtaken swedens infection rate with the government in copenhagen bringing in new restrictions last week its true weve seen a couple of weeks worth of cases in sweden have been going down while theyve been increasing in denmark but we also see that testing much more than in sweden i think theyre just saying that theyre most ok and. Sweden may have flattened the curve considerably since the dark days of the spring and summer but the surge of cases in some parts of the country suggest its still far too early to know if the swedish model is working poor riess aljazeera stock or. K. Theres a very strong storm system here some particularly powerful winds in the last 24 hours look at these wind gusts 94 kilometers an hour and mumbles and on the east coast olenka chicagos 91 kilometers an hour and these wins are not set to decrease any time soon this is a storm system that really is very vigorous really impacting the eastern sections of the u. K. Across into the low countries belgium the netherlands and look at this as we go through friday we are expecting season with wind gusts maybe as high as 105 kilometers an hour and of course the some rain with it perhaps not quite as strong suffered a bit still those winds. The piling down through the north sea cold winds as well elsewhere in europe whiles that is going on weve got some very unsettled conditions heavy amounts of rain across the central areas and continuing to accumulate across areas in the south in the southeast as well so when it comes to that i mean perhaps more flooding across areas of italy and as much as 2 or 3 days time we could say about 150. 00 millimeters feta thats a lot of rain jamie talk to certain thank you very much still to come here on the news for you the agreement between fatah and hamas that could help unite both sides in the face of israels diplomatic deals with some arab countries. The States Republican Party leaders in the us are distancing themselves from Donald Trumps refusal to commit to a peaceful transfer of power if he loses the election on november the 3rd now after trump again questioned the fairness of postal voting the republicans joined democrats in reassuring voters of an orderly transition as our White House Correspondent kimberly helped get. The peaceful transfer of power between president is a time. Modder tradition dating back to americas founding but its one donald trump refuses to endorse should he lose the november election you have to see what happens. On thursday citing fears of widespread ballot fraud and vote rigging the u. S. President again cast doubt on whether hell accept the results of the november poll we want to make sure the election is honest but im not sure that it can be i dont i dont know that it can be with this whole situation unsolicited ballots. His press secretary says trump will accept the results but with conditions the president will exact except the results of a free and fair election. How exactly the white house defines free and fair or is not clear casting grave uncertainty over the integrity of the vote trump is particularly concerned with mail in balloting which states are offering so voters dont have to travel to the polls during the coronavirus pandemic Top Republican and democrat leaders in congress on thursday tried to reassure voters on twitter Mitch Mcconnell the republican leader in the senate wrote there will be an orderly transition just as there has been every 4 years since 792 democrat House Speaker nancy pelosi went further criticizing trumps failure to commit to a peaceful transition you are not in saudi arabia you are in the United States of america it is a democracy. So why dont you just. Try for a moment to honor your oath of office but the white house is pushing back on criticism of the president s controversial remarks arguing trumps 2016 president ial rival Hillary Clinton last month made similar comments joe biden should not concede under any circumstances because i think this is going to drag out and eventually i do believe he will win if we dont give in and if we are as focused and relentless as the other side of. The controversy has added uncertainty and underscored fears that it could be weeks before the results of the november 3rd president ial election are no can really help get aljazeera the white house. Ok lets take you live to the Capitol Building in washington because what youre looking at right now they are moving the casket containing Ruth Bader Ginsburg the former Supreme Court justice from the Supreme Court room vaulted room where she was lying in state there shes going to be lying in state there on the capitol president bill clinton who appointed her in 1993 i notice hes saying she was a magnificent judge and a wonderful person a brilliant lawyer with a caring heart commonsense fees devotion to fairness and equality and boundless courage shes the 1st woman ever to be allowed or to be given the honor of lying in state in the history of the United States the u. S. President barack obama talking on his blog i think he was discussing ginsburg saying that she inspired the generations who followed her from the tiniest trick or treaters to law students according to barack obama burning the midnight oil he says to the most powerful leaders in the land weve heard from the speaker of the house nancy pelosi saying that Ruth Bader Ginsburg did more for womens rights in america than any body in the Supreme Court any politician be it at a local a state or a federal level will stay with these pictures and will bring in castros correspondent whos been following the twists and turns of this over the past week or so since Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed away and we cant talk about this heidi without talking about the way that her memory and her legacy and her replacement is cosi didnt the way you know its being politicized on all sides. Absolutely and her purse has arrived now in moments time we should be seeing. Sergeant at arms carrying her casket up the steps behind me into the statuary hall within the Capitol Rotunda there we will have a short ceremony followed by the family of the late Justice Ginsburg paying their respects and members of congress doing the same and indeed she leaves such big shoes to fill Ruth Bader Ginsberg a feminist icon who truly transform the lives of men and women in the United States she championed shattering the notion of womens work coerces mens work and she embodied this journey the social revolution that she fought for in her personal life we know as a young woman she was one of 9 women in a class of more than 500 men at Harvard Law School having to justify to the dean why she was there taking a mans spot later as a wife and as a pregnant mother she was denied Employment Opportunities because of her pregnancy eventually working with the American Civil Liberties union she argued 5 out of 6 cakes court cases of gender discrimination before the Supreme Court winning those arguments and really laying the jurisprudence building the step before a justice as a 9 male justices of the Supreme Court of that time leading to the fight for gender equality that she so symbolizes and of course when she herself was appointed to the Supreme Court in 1903 becoming the only the 2nd one woman to be a justice she had 27 years of experience on the bench before her passing really making a name for herself by her sharp descents in which she was laser focused on the fight for equality of all types for americans now nancy pelosi the speaker of the house remembered. Siskins birth by saying that her death was a loss to all of america and youll see that even republicans have also made lobbying statements of Justice Ginsburg she was famously known for her friendships with other justices who are more conservative than herself on this high bench and in moments time we will see nancy pelosi giving introductory remarks with then the capitol well see Justice Kimber ginsburgs casket lane in state as you mention the 1st one meant to be given that honor in the United States within the u. S. Capitol followed by the members of congress followed by her family who will be paying their respects and also if we view what she did and what she achieved in the prism of where the Supreme Court is going to be and what its going to be dealing with heidi over the next 6 weeks or so you know people who believe in womens rights they have a they have an issue here dont they with what they think donald trump wants to do because the the supposition is that he wants to shoehorn in somebody who will tilt the court to the right but just in november mid to late november the court is due to start handing down a judgment on roe versus wade of course everyone knows that main label because that in shrines abortion that enshrines a womans rights in law it codifies that and they think the clock might be turned back if the the the ideological legal makeup of the Supreme Court is pivoted in another direction. Thats right and in fact the dying wish as dictated to her granddaughter from the late justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was that a new president named her replacement and polls show that an overwhelming number of americans agree that that is a good idea as well they want the election to take place and for whoever wins this election to pick her replacement however that is not the political reality here we know President Trump intends tomorrow to name the person the woman he has said who will who he would like to replace Justice Ginsburg and that has many consequential results it will likely make his campaign a bit easier it will give a boost to his struggling campaign as we see him trailing his democratic challenger joe biden in the polls his advisors have have long said that having another conservative justice on the court which trump will have his 3rd opportunity now to do so is a clear conservative wind it would be a distraction from otherwise criticism of President Trumps administration with 200000. 00 americans dead from coded in the last few weeks stretching up to election day on a bender a 3rd which is just 39. 00 days away certainly to shift the focus to that conversation about scotus about a very solid conservative majority placed there by president would certainly be a boost to his campaign and then of course we have the other consequence that if indeed the Supreme Court justice is nominated and confirmed prior to the election and if those Election Results are close and contested it may be this very court that helps resolve any legal challenges and President Trump has been candid in saying he wants a full Supreme Court. With its 9 justices to determine any election challenge result thats led to democrats accusing trump of wanting to stack the courts and trying to solve this week twice so that he would not commit to a peaceful transition of power were he to lose this election giving every indication that he would use the full Legal Recourse to challenge the Election Results of he were to lose ok heidi for the moment many thanks heidi to castro the and well just leave that element of our coverage of american morning and saying its farewell to Ruth Bader Ginsburg one quote from a few days back when she was in the Supreme Court she was what america should be well go back to those scenes a little later im sure. Ok lets turn to the middle east hamas and fatah have agreed to hold the 1st Palestinian Elections in 14 years the rival groups want to form a united opposition against deals israel has signed with the u. A. E. To normalize their relations palestinian groups accuse their arab neighbors of betrayal the elections are due to be held within 6 months well its been a long running dispute between hamas and fatah relations back in 2006 when hamas won the election and solidified control of gaza the following year the rival Fatah Movement led by president Mahmoud Abbas was expelled to the occupied west bank after fatal attacks on each others members and several attempts at reconciliation over the years failed plans to form a unity government never materialized moment bashara is senior political analyst he joins us from paris again here on this 13 genius why no one who gets what outs of this were you know. Rate is better the number where we have try one number of agent over the last dozen years and they think you know because i guess among other reasons it wasnt as urgent as they well then its so urgent that its packed or were going to ask for instance after the war they have to unite d they have to come out as the united front the main Political Parties as a people in or the present for israel and the i dont were all as one i think theyre absolutely going to be with a clear thanks for an stands where the experiment or go as an authority meaning bringing that into the act there is no i just know people in the occupied territories as well as if were people program. Already a solution for d the. I suppose mowen if we were to have a conversation here with somebody from fatah or hamas they would say this will be good for the Palestinian People but given the loyalties on both sides when it necessarily be good for the Palestinian People. You know this is like oh when you were talking with our reporter in washington you know if its me and the rest of the democrats are very public and not so theres not one persevere i can be both i mean what else is left its like d how my son but that occupy some you know the same woman 3040 years. But i dont think. Its like a 2 party system if you were on the occupation of course with a minion so dag reman is essential now that doesnt mean that they are the sort of good people because just like d the rest of the out of well certainly its like an international general then hes a quite. Well im the kind of seeing interest even more acute why because the leadership thus far the last 25 years since the Peace Process started since the division in 2006 since need so full of a sense from a message and Community Since the last couple of months with the normalization of the fund raiser they are not provide the necessary. Leadership for the palestinians and showing that we out of the horses is almost now almost i would say little choice for demba that this new strategy will knock the arse so around the blockade repressed by israel by by the arab. Ships by the United States that are the main players if you are in for a pastime that big going to have to come up with some pretty miraculous talk to has hamas but also as a people because we know from accidents periods peter that only when the Palestinian People meet its what it was the 1st uprising 2nd uprising even before that when they moved as a people. With a clear path warm they were able to effect the i joined the whole of israel and. Ok mo and we must leave it there weve got live events stacking up in a running order goods talk shows up there in paris. Where we are waiting to hear from the palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas hell be addressing the u. N. General assembly shortly thats taking place of course virtually all the some people are there as well in new york diplomatic editor is there james is there a chance here well be tuning in for one speech but we might get to will he touch do we think on this moving together on the part of fatah and hamas. I think its unlikely ill tell you why because of the format of this years General Assembly the official position and we know that some of the videos have come in quite late is that all of the videos and all of the speeches that youre seeing at the u. N. General assembly are recorded not taking place alive had to be submitted to the u. N. For days before the start of the General Assembly session so it is unlikely that recent developments will get reflected and less he was and he may well have been aware of this information beforehand it will be interesting to listen to Mahmoud Abbas will be speaking straight after the pope who is speaking to the General Assembly session right now were telling you that pope francis has made a very very strong call in the time of covert 19 for debt relief to hear what else about us has to say because this has been a very difficult year for the palestinians starting off of course early in the year with the long awaited shop plan for the middle east a plan that the palestinians certainly condemned the words a tall happy with has been a difficult year for the International Community as well with the talk at various points israel had its 3rd election of imminent annexation now what weve had instead of these peace deals between 2 gulf nations and israel and that will be condemned im sure by the palestinian president. I have to tell you here at the u. N. In particular on the Security Council its taken some of the heat off some of the other Security Council members who were getting ready to have to respond to our next ation which is something that would have breached various Security Council resolutions and put Security Council members firmly against israel because of the peace deals with those gulf countries they havent had to confront that possibility do you think youll feel the need when it comes to the normalization of relations between bahrain and israel and the u. A. E. And israel that he might re identify the reality of that which is those 2 countries were never not at peace with israel from the get go anyway and yet donald trump say you know it was being interpreted as peace in our time which they were kind of saying to the world look youve got to take this as the peace deal which it isnt which it wasnt and and kind of dull for tail it with the general deal of the century at the beginning of the year and thats why the palestinians feel so betrayed by their certain members of their arab brethren. They certainly do feel very betrayed by what has happened theyre very unhappy about what has happened but i think at the same time theyll be listening to some of the words we heard the king of bahrain speak 24 hours ago and although hes done that peace deal with israel he also was pretty consistent with his position on the palestinians and that the deal that he talked about looks nothing like the cushion a deal hes still talking about a 2 state solution with East Jerusalem as the capital of a palestinian state the popes recorded address now in the General Assembly hall has finished and the next speaker although there has been a little bit of juggling with the speakers is Mahmoud Abbas and he will be introduced by the policy number of the u. N. Riyadh man saw whos about to make that introductory speech and he sometimes in these speeches they discuss the latest developments so lets listen in. Here president of the General Assembly. Excellencies ladies and gentlemen. It is my honor to introduce the recorded statement of his excellency mr Mahmoud Abbas president of the state of palestine. The. General debate of the 75th session of the General Assembly thank you mr president. And whatnot all right. Your excellent see mr vulcan busk here. President of the General Assembly. Your excellency mr and join your good secretary general of the United Nations. Distinguished delegates. Peace be upon you. While preparing my speech. I kept wondering what more i could say. After all that i have said on countless occasions. What more could i say about the suffering of my people. The misery they experience every day while the world stands by watching and their long overdue legitimate aspirations to live in freedom independence and dignity. Just like the rest of the world. Ladies and gentleman. How long do we have to wait. Until there is a just solution. To the palestinian question a solution guaranteed by International Law. How long will the Palestinian People continue to languish under the yoke of Israeli Occupation how long do we have to wait until there is a just solution to the status of millions of Palestinian Refugees in line with the relevant un resolutions adopted 70 years ago ladies and gentlemen the Palestinian People have lived in their homeland palestine the land of their fathers and grandfathers for 6000 years. They will remain in this land and they will stand up. To occupation. Aggression and betrayal. Until they gain their rights. By it of the difficulties. And in spite of the unjust blockade that aims to undermine them. We will not bow down we will not surrender. We will not compromise. And we shall triumph. Ladies and gentlemen. We have agreed to International Mediation despite the historic injustice we have seen since 1917. Which has left us with nothing. Except the territories that were occupied in 1967. However israel of the occupying power. With a support of the Current Us Administration has decided to do away with such mediation in favor of the socalled deal of the century under the deal israel plans to annex 33 percent of the territories of the state of palestine as well as occupied East Jerusalem including a luxo mosque and the church of the holy civil court of. We and the whole world have rejected such plans which run counter to all International Resolutions that recognized the state of palestine in 2012 as a member of the International Community. We have always been in favor of a comprehensive just and lasting peace we have accepted all of the initiatives proposed i personally have dedicated my life to the cause of b. S. Since 1988 up to the madrid conference and the oslo accords in 1993. And to this day we have agreed we have committed to the Arab Peace Initiative. Which guarantees security peace and coexistence after the end of the occupation we have done that. For the sake of peace but what has israel done in return. Israel has reneged on all of the agreements it signed and has undermined the 2 state solution through its aggression it has killed and arrested people demolished homes and stifled the economy. It has sought to systematically alter the character and identity of jerusalem and has desecrated its christian and muslim holy sites especially some mosque that has continued its settlement expansion. On our land and has disregarded the Arab Peace Initiative. And through its unilateral and reckless actions it is destroying the last chance for peace. And to top it all off israel the u. A. E. And behind have just signed normalization agreements in violation of the Arab Peace Initiative and the principles of a just and lasting solution under International Law. They Palestinian Liberation Organization has never asked anyone to speak or negotiate on behalf of the Palestinian People the only way to achieve a comprehensive just and lasting peace in our region is to end the occupation and to ensure the independence of the state of palestine along the 967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital and this regard and. I call on the secretary general of the United Nations to start preparations in cooperation with the quartet and the Security Council for an international conference. Early next year. That brings together all relevant parties at the conference should have full authority to launch a genuine Peace Process based on International Law and relevant terms. Of reference. It should aim to end the occupation grant the Palestinian People their freedom and independence and their own state along the 967 borders with East Jerusalem as capital and to settle all final status issues notably the refugee question in line with the resolution. 194. Ladies and gentlemen. It would be foolish to think that the Palestinian People could ever accept the occupation. Or yield to pressure and diktats it is delusional to think that the Palestinian People could be sidelined we are the rightful owners of this cause. You should all know that there can be no peace no security no stability or coexistence in our region without end to the occupation and without a just and comprehensive solution to the palestinian question which is at the heart of the conflict ladies and gentleman. Standing ins are a living and Creative Nation they are peace lovers and freedom fighters. This by the occupation. They have managed to build an active and modern society based on democracy and rule of law. They have managed to preserve their National Identity despite political and intellectual differences. Against all familiar. We are preparing to hold a. Legislative and president ial elections with the full participation of all Political Parties. We will keep on living we will continue to hope. We will remain committed to our National Unity and democracy in the face of all attempts to deny our existence. We will fight until we regain our rightful place among the nations and we will exercise all our rights under International Law including our right to resist occupation. We will continue to build our state institutions. And the rule of law. And we will continue
