And welcome to the aljazeera news ally for my headquarters in doha with iran coming up in the next sixty minutes. We call on all nations to cut all ties with north korea. The u. S. Leads a course of condemnation against north korea following its latest Missile Launch. Just hours after announcing hed run for the Egyptian Presidency i think says hes being prevented from leaving. A war criminal dies from drinking poison seconds off for you when Court Upholds his twenty year jail term. And a growing International Criticism after u. S. President donald trump. And Muslim Videos. Were taking you live to the u. N. Security council now where the Chinese Ambassador is speaking of the joint military exercises and china proposed that you track approach promoting parallel progress in the nuclearization and the establishment of a peace mechanism on the peninsula the Russian Federation also has put forward the idea of a phased approach to the settlement of the issues of the Korean Peninsula on the basis. Of the above proposals china and the Russian Federation issue a joint statement on july fourth this year proposing a roadmap for the settlement of the Korean Peninsula as problems the joint initiative of china and russia is practical and feasible is aimed at promoting the peaceful settlement of the Nuclear Issue of the Korean Peninsula and maintaining peace and stability on the peninsula so. We hope it will elicit response and support from the parties concerned in the Current Situation this era council needs to show is historic responsibility by prompting the parties to take integrated measures to serve the problems through peaceful diplomatic and political means and maintain peace and stability on different and insular china will continue to implement the Relevant Security Council resolutions comprehensively and in their entirety and together with the parties concerned we will continue to play an active and constructive role in seeking in the property settlement of the korean the Nuclear Issue of the Korean Peninsula and then only a realisation nuclearize ation and long term peace and stability on the peninsula china expect start all the parties the main parties concerned in particular will make their own efforts. To this and. By ordering commitments in a constructive manner. On the. Sanctions Committee China believes that the committees work should be conducive to the realisation of the nuclearize ation of the Korean Peninsula the maintenance of peace and stability on the peninsula and the promotion of dialogue and negotiation is among the parties concerned with a view to finding a solution a panel of experts must act in strict compliance with its mandate and that is work under the principle of objectivity and impartiality and not on the basis of substantiated evidence that is chinas consistent view that the Security Council sanctions against. Should not negatively impact relevant humanitarian assistance activities i thank you mr president. So we have been listening there to the chinese representative the Chinese Ambassador to the u. N. Security council talking about north korea at this emergency session that the Security Council is Holding Following that last launch test launch of an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile by pyongyang the Chinese Ambassador saying that the Security Council needs to settle problems through peaceful means that china will continue to implement resolutions in there and tire to you. And that Security Council resolutions that its important that they dont adversely affect the humanitarian conditions and situation in pyongyang well lets go to our correspondent at the United Nations now mike hanna is joining us from there so weve just heard from the Chinese Ambassador mike before that we heard from the u. S. Ambassador nikki haley who was really pushing a lot of euless on china what else and b. Have we been hearing so far at this session. Well important to know that the chinese represent to the deputy ambassador speaking there also repeated a position of china that has been greatly at odds with the United States and that is the idea of some kind of mutual stand down by south korea the u. S. And north korea in exchange for an end to the north Korean Nuclear program now this is being ruled out completely by the United States and by south korea and by japan so we do have a position there from china which is consistent earlier as you mentioned we did hear from the u. S. Ambassador besser saying that president trumpets spoken to the chinese Prime Minister earlier in the course of the day and had made a direct request of him to End Crude Oil exports to north korea this she said would have a major impact on the economy of that country and actually lead to the required a situation in which economic downturn it would then suspend its Nuclear Development program but the ambassador halley also very strong in terms of a stick no carrots from her just a very big stick this is the warning that she gave for north korea made a choice yesterday that brings the world closer to war not farther from it we have never sought war with north korea and still today we do not think it if war does come it will be because of continued acts of aggression like we witnessed yesterday and if for comes make no mistake the north korean regime will be utterly destroy us beth and if you have any their might they have of course already been so many resolutions and thank heavens what can the Security Council hard to achieve here. Well there has been discussion being made very clear that existing sanctions need to be fully implemented at the beginning of this particular session we heard from the head of the u. N. Sanctions committee who said that sanctions were being properly exercised but more needs to be done we heard from nikki haley that more needs to be done in particular from china which is north koreas closest neighbor and greatest ally what we are hearing now in the course of this discussion though its unlikely theres going to be any announcement of any new sanctions at this particular point what we should be looking at in the days ahead is further discussion among the particularly the major nations in the Security Council so that they can get into a united position on where the new sanctions should be introduced and if so what those sanctions should be but what we are also likely to see is some kind of unilateral action in the days ahead maybe from the United States in which case it will once again impose sanctions on its own unilaterally and not through the u. N. Security council these are possibilities what is pretty certain at this stage because no resolution has been drafted calling for new sanctions is that at the end of the session where im likely to see any real change in the status quo what we are hearing now is condemnation from all members of the u. N. Security council for the latest Missile Launch and a pledge to continue to work in a way as to which the Korean Peninsula can be successfully denuclearized mike thank you very much for that for now thats mike hanna with the very latest joining us live from the United Nations well lets go to our correspondent in the south korean capital now kathy novak is joining us live from thall what is the view where you are kathleen does the south believe that more franklins more pressure would be enough to persuade pyongyang. Well i think the president when jay and put it quite simply yesterday when responding to the i. C. B. M. Launch from north korea when he said that the United States and south korea have no other choice but to proceed with the campaign of sanctions and pressure the president here does not want to say im sorry im just im going to have to interrupt you there because i believe were hearing from the Russian Ambassador to the United Nations lets listen and well come back to you. In the interests of the entire International Community to resolve the situation on the Korean Peninsula must be done only through peaceful means. To the states of the region did not show their readiness to pay due attention to the political components of all the sanctions resolutions including resolution one two three seventy the situation continued to deteriorate and moving in a vicious circle. Mr president. Sanctions against pyongyang are simply an instrument aimed at you know valving in constructive negotiations and should not be used for this triangle. Cake anomaly or to intentionally worsen the humanitarian situation of this. Pertains to the illegal unilateral restrictions that strike given to civilian sectors that have no. Link to the to the missile and Nuclear Programs of the country. Or. To the half months the United States and its allies seem to have tried patience of pyongyang with its activities including. Unplanned and. Military maneuvers all or recently introduced unilateral sanctions. And just recently announced under president. Military an air exercises by the United States and south korea near the borders of the d. P. R. K. Just announced last week. Now. Against the backdrop of the calm and quiet by young of these hostile move against. Forces to really think about this and sarah to the statements by washington about its preference for peaceful means of resolving the crisis around. Believe that this time should have been used for concrete steps to establish direct contacts with pyongyang rather than further escalating tensions. A comprehensive solution solution to the problems of the Korean Peninsula is possible only in the framework of the. Comprehensive military and political. Eastern and northern asia easing military confrontation and establishing trust among the countries of the region this is precisely. Their approach that was proposed by russia in china in their joint statement on the fourth of july and they proposed a road map of a gradual move towards a settlement starting with the principle of suspension for suspension which envisions the d. P. R. K. Stopping missile and Nuclear Tests the same time the United States and south korea. Decreasing the into the scale of their military exercises. This in turn would pave the way to discussing the principles of peaceful coexistence between washington and pyongyang and resumption of the enter korean dialogue. I think everyone must be clear and. Weve been listening there to the Russian Ambassador to the United NationsSecurity Council he like china was speaking about sanctions against pyongyang saying that they should not be used to strangle the countrys economy all voice in the humanitarian situation interesting he also question the sincerity of washington statements saying that the u. S. Should be trying to deescalate tensions rather than flaring them lets go back to our correspondent in the south korean capital seoul kathy novak whos also been listening to the Russian Ambassador to the Chinese Ambassador before him and of course to the u. S. Representative nikki haley will the south korean government be satisfied with whats coming out of this emergency session cathy so. Well i think in terms of sanctions the south korean government has expressed a similar position to what the Russian Ambassador was just talking about there that is that sanctions are designed to bring north korea back to the negotiating table there have not been any into korean talks since last year and even though the u. S. And its allies in the past have said that denuclearization is a precondition for talks nevertheless south korea has continued to leave the invitation open to north korea to come to the negotiating table to have dialogue with south korea about what one of the ministers were saying just the day before the launch here in seoul was that first of all he believes that perhaps north korea has been holding off on intercooler in dialogue because it wants to speak directly to the United States and he also said that he does not believe that sanctions and pressure all alone will work that it is simply as the Russian Ambassador alluded to there an instrument to bring north korea to the negotiating table but still south korea says that it really is the only option that south korea the u. S. And its allies must. Press ahead with this campaign of sanctions and press her because the military option is not one that south korea is open to it does not want to see another war on the Korean Peninsula but it is also against that proposal that the Russian Ambassador also repeated there as did the Chinese Ambassador that option for a freeze for freeze that would see north korea stopping its Nuclear Development in exchange for the u. S. And south korea stopping its military exercises in fact there is another round of exercises due to go ahead next week we know that is something that greatly angers north korea as are sanctions as are insults against the leader and we heard donald trump after initially just saying about the launch that he in the United States will handle it they will take care of it later speaking to a crowd he repeated his insult against kim jong un the leader of north korea calling him little rocket man and also calling him a sick puppy these are the sorts of things that did not go unnoticed in north korea and we heard the u. S. Ambassador at the u. N. There nikki haley repeating a threat to really destroy north korea so whether this will ratchet up tensions or calm the situation really remains to be seen cathy thank you very much for that. Kathy novak joining us live from seoul were going to get more on this now were joined by scott snyder director of the program on u. S. Korea policy at the council on Foreign Relations and the all for of south korea at the crossroads and hes joining us live from washington d. C. Mr snider great to have you with us on aljazeera a plenty to talk about lets start with some of the strongest statements that weve heard this is even him coming from the u. S. Ambassador in the key haley that all countries should cut off diplomatic relations with north korea still want to trade how realistic is that you know especially given pyongyangs relationship with two members of the Security Council china and russia who weve also heard from in the session. Well the United States is clearly pushing for a broader International Oil in bargo strongest pressure possible in terms of economic relations with north korea but north korea is dependent on china as the main source of economic supply so it does require chinas cooperation that statement by the Chinese Ambassador really i think exposed some of the gaps with the u. S. On that issue including the question of humanitarian aid or the possibility that sanctions could lead to some kind of economic strangulation and instability in north korea and that is a concern that is shared by russia as well as we heard from the Russian Ambassador on nikki haley also said that china must cut off oil supplies to north korea again how realistic is that would china do that well china may be hesitant should take that step because i think that the oil supply to north korea is seen as very important to basically keeping the lights on in north korea. And so that is definitely what the u. S. Is pushing for i dont know that the chinese are going to do that voluntarily and it raises the question of whether the Trump Administration is going to pursue secondary sanctions theres a lot of support i think in capitol hill for steps to basically punish customers of north korea and that would include chinese Oil Exporters and why do you think there is so much support on capitol hill for these additional sanctions when so far they have not had the result. That they say theyre seeking out north koreas continuing with its Nuclear Program and making significant advances as weve seen in this latest test. Well the push for sanctions on capitol hill i think is really just a representation of the level of discomfort that the u. S. Has with the idea of being vulnerable to north korea under kim jong un and the feeling that we really do need in the United States to take every available option preferably short of war to eliminate this particular throughout its a function of the mistrust the mutual mistrust that clearly exists between washington and pyongyang this is not a very good to get your thoughts on the scott snyder joining us live from washington d. C. Thank you. We have plenty more ahead on the news hour including the European Union and African Leaders pledged to do more to help thousands of migrants stranded in libya. And thousands of refugees on the greek island of. Winter. And tigers back but can the former world number one find his form on his return from injury joe well have the details and. Moving on to other news now in the u. A. E. Has a blog blocked former egyptian promised feet from traveling and comes just as he announced his intention to run the next years president ial election in egypt she cried in egypts first president ial election after the two thousand and eleven optimize against forming the to Hosni Mubarak he lost against Mohamed Morsi of the Muslim Brotherhood fled out of the cities often that defeat hes been a strong christian a coffee gyptian president of the sisi. My fellow egyptian citizens i have announced my intention to run in the president ial election and i was planning to start a tour amongst egyptian communities abroad before going back to egypt in the next few days however i was surprised to find out im prevented from leaving the u. A. E. For reasons i dont understand and im not willing to understand ive often stated my appreciation for the u. A. E. For hosting me however i reject any intervention in egypt the furrows by preventing me from participating in a constitutional right now before entering politics if hed had a long military career as a Fighter Pilot and later command of the air force between one thousand nine hundred six and two thousand and two and after retiring from the air force he entered government as minister for Civil Aviation and was briefly Prime Minister under Hosni Mubarak in two thousand and eleven he ran for the presidency in two thousand and twelve but now ali lost a moderate in the second round runoff vote by just fifty one point seven percent to forty eight point three spirit of the results before going into exile well lets get more on this now were joined by for Heart Disease professor of law because university and director of the center on security race and civil rights and she is joining us from newark new jersey mrs these are always great to have you with us on aljazeera if it is true that you are a far things arent letting your feet leave i mean why would that be and how long can they keep end there. Well again there is a factual dispute because the minister of Foreign Affairs of the u. A. E. Just tweeted that there is no bar first of the extravagant but lets assume there is a bar i think its reasonable to assume that the Egyptian Government is probably playing a see a role behind the scenes because the u. A. E. And egypt are very strong allies right now particularly with sisi at the helm and so the question is why wouldnt he want to come back to egypt to run for the presidency and i think the answer is by clear which is the sisi does not want to serious contender he certainly needs a contender but one that is known to be weak and will not win the election but simply create the appearance that the next president ial election will be competitive and chafee will be a very serious contender a serious contender even though hes been in the u. A. E. And the party that he led from abroad failed to make significant gains in the two thousand and fifteen parliamentary elections. Well if you look back at the two thousand and twelve elections for example there were thirteen and then nine candidates and ended up being of the final two so that shows that he was able to have enough popularity to be a finalist and he barely lost to morsi and one of the reasons is because he is very well connected to what is now known as the deep state in egypt and the military is currently at the head of the state so his connections and his reputation with the military is one that none of the other contenders would have and he is likely to leverage any existing divisions within the military and to leverage popular discontent with sisi particular on Economic Issues because inflation is at thirty percent unemployment is at thirty percent for youth so he will leverage that against sisi to perhaps even win the election which is precisely what sisi and his allies you eat do not want i was just going to ask mrs as you know would someone like shafiq run unless he knows hes got backing from within the broader establishment especially the military. Well i think your feet feels very marginalized and the u. A. E. Is in self exile and i think hes the type of personality that wants to have our in egypt and feels that he should be ruling egypt as a former general so i think its it doesnt suit him to be in south exile in a quiet place such as the u. A. E. And i think he does feel that at the very least hell get attention and hell bring back his popularity and hell be a relevant political figure in egypt and at this point because hes popularity has waned quite a bit i think he may think he can win now the question is that if he goes back he risks being prosecuted again you know he was prosecuted already and thats one of the reasons why he left because he was under threat of detention and possible invasion hes now been acquitted and is technically or hes legally free to return to egypt but sisi could manipulate the executive branch to file trumped up charges of corruption or a handful of criminal charges and then put him in pretrial detention which could last for years so it is risky for should think to return even if he were not barred from the u. A. E. Do you think that he would do you think he would make a better president you know egypt has no shortage of problems that its facing and that of course might affect president to say seems chances in the next president ial election if he does run but the reasons youve named so far for sure fake running them seem to be more about herman than about improving things in egypt. I dont think sheffield has a record of success in terms of his political career one thing that he is commended for in. Creating terminal three of the airport in updating and upgrading egypt air so he does have that success on his record but he like many other people in egypt and many politicians do not have extensive experience in running the country and hes also a military general so hes unlikely to create a society that will have more freedom more Political Freedom thriving and free press and Civil Society i think where he will be is simply another military general that will replace sisi who was another military general place and so i dont think hes going to bring much change to egypt in that regard as great to get your thoughts as always so hot as he is joining us live from newark new jersey thank you now a former Bosnian Croat a military leader has died after drinking poison and a u. N. War crimes court slobbered on probably on the liquid just seconds after he was told he lost his appeal against his conviction then a smith reports with his twenty year sentence for war crimes upheld on appeal she. Was not about to go quietly it may be seated. Shouting i am not a war criminal a form a coalition general took a drink from a whole bottle. For a short time the presiding judge continued to deliver verdicts on the other defendants then probably heard again through a translator i have taken poison. The seventy two year olds lawyer repeats a clients claim that. Clients as he drank a poison this morning she says we spent at least the curtains probably ak was taken to a hospital in the hague where he later died in two thousand and four slept on probably at flew from zagreb to the netherlands and surrendered himself to the Hague Tribunal with his codefendants he was charged with trying to create what was described as an ethnically pure greater croatia. Probably ak was found guilty with others of helping a stoppage concentration camps for Bosnian Muslims and specifically he was charged with ordering the destruction of the city of must pass ottoman aerobraking. On wednesday and must start some of the survivors of those concentration camps watch the sentencing and probably x. Suicide. All of us who had been in camps we expected at least the confirmation that this was a joint criminal enterprise and not only the verdict against prayag but also all the men who took part while on the other side of divided must ah some of projects former soldiers understood why hed taken his own life. But as we show im thinking i would do the same it would be hard to serve time in prison while some are marking you these were the final verdicts to be handed down by the International Criminal court for the former yugoslavia the six defendants had their appeals rejected theyd been sentenced to a collective one hundred and eleven years in jail the court was set up in one thousand nine hundred three at the height of the balkans war to prosecute europes worst atrocities since World War TwoBernard Smith al jazeera. Now the spanish coast guard has recovered three bodies in the waters between morocco and spain as their rescue and to all the people since the beginning of the year more than three thousand refugees and migrants have died trying to cross the mediterranean and a desperate bid to reach europes shores the staggering numbers have brought two european and African Leaders together in the ivory coast to discuss possible solutions the talk about live reports from abidjan. It was the host of the summit the president of the ivory coast who set the tone allison what torah said it was totally unacceptable that in this day and age refugees were being traded as slaves in libya. This is disgraceful drama reminds us of the darkest hours of humanity i call a collective sense of responsibility to take urgent action many refugees in libya are in Detention Centers where conditions are appalling others are bought and sold by those with little respect for human life the slave trade in libya has shocked and embarrassed leaders in both africa and europe and it has injected a sense of urgency into this summit so we have to think there is a very Critical Issues and across this like in libya and thats why i want to finalize before the end of this summit and very Great Initiative between the African Union and European Union. Leaders on both sides are expected to launch a plan to address the situation by the end of their meeting but the United Nations secretary general issued a warning that unless new ideas of found to deal with migration human rights abuses will continue. We will not put an end to the tragedy in the mediterranean if we do not create significant legal migration opportunities we must also ensure that people can find a dignified future in their home country this is essential to combat smugglers and traffickers the most horrible criminals of our time. Activists say that more must be done to stop Young Africans leaving home in the first place we have to invest in jobs and employment we have to invest in basic to cover basic needs thats what we need to do and delegates start from migrating but theres always going to be migration and specially among among suffragan countries does its always going to be that. There are more than eighty leader. At this summit finding one voice some any issue will never be easy critics say the when it comes to migration they have favored quick fixes rather than Long Term Solutions the question is whether this summit will change that natasha aljazeera. Ivory coast. Now the mayor of les pauls has accused the great government of turning the island into the Guantanamo Bay of europe thousands of refugees stuck on the Island Living in squalid conditions and face a harsh winter as donahoe reports greek government leaders are complaining of a lack of help from the European Union. On the aegean island of lesbos the evenings have turned cold most of the roughly ten thousand refugees and migrants stuck on the island live in the bleak confines of moriah camp no matter what. They are free to come and go but cannot leave the island a deal struck between the e. U. And turkey last year to halt the flow of refugees to europe has left the greek government with the heavy burden of looking after those caught in the middle this is an extraordinary situation for people to find themselves in it is as if they have just literally escaped war or some awful disaster but this is a permanent camp many of them have been here for months and months in the care of an european government it feels more like a government that couldnt care less only the ministry only the minister the governor of course is a government case or to make case it that they make a case that the government. S. President donald trump has been widely condemned for sharing anti Muslim Videos from far right British Group they were originally posted by jade of friends of the deputy leader of the bush and first group was convicted of abusing a muslim woman earlier this month i want house correspondent kimberly hellcat reports. Outrage and calls for his impeachment thats what followed after the president of the United States re tweeted three anti Muslim Videos be verified videos purport to show muslims attacking people and property they were made public online by this woman a muslim terrorists screamy off to franzen and extreme right wing british activist whos previously been charged with inciting hate speech against muslims the white house may not support her views but it defends retreating her videos the threat is real and that is what the president is talking about thats what the president is focused on is dealing with those real threats and those are real no matter how you look at it normally a close ally the british Prime Minister through her spokesman condemned donald trump as being wrong on capitol hill this democratic congressman said the videos were nothing more than hate and called on members to take action against the president when hate emanates from the presidency the solution is impeachment trumps positions are not new when speaking about i solo or even al qaida the president has historically insisted on stressing that he believes the groups are made up of radical islamic terrorists on the campaign trail for president trouble also called for a total and complete shutdown of muslims and drink the United States and in the first days of his presidency trump implemented the first in a series of executive orders blocking travelers from some muslim majority countries the policies have been challenged in the courts characterized as nothing more than a ban on muslims the largest islamic Civil Rights Group in the United States has also condemned the president s tweets and accused him of inciting violence against muslims this is in. Danger in our safety as americans its in the enduring the safety of american muslim kids in schools muslim workers even members of the Muslim Community in the military still no matter how hateful the president s actions may be his position reflects the views of millions of americans. That helped him win the white house kimberly helped get aljazeera Washington Well lets get more on the smeller joined by jordan to marry dufner a writer who focuses on islamophobia shes the author of finding jesus among muslims and an associate at georgetowns bridge and i should have shes joining us live from washington d. C. Very good to have you with us on aljazeera what did you make off the president sharing these videos on twitter were you surprised at all. Well initially i was surprised because i think like most people when you see a Major Political figure using fake information to incite fear and hatred towards towards a community of people that surprising but on the other hand it shouldnt be surprising to us because its quite in line with the track record of the president and his Administration Whether its you know the call to ban muslims from the from the election to the executive orders that your reporter mentioned and also i would mention too that many of the people that have worked in this administration have also worked previously with anti muslim organizations in the United States whether thats steve van in Steven MillerKellyanne ConwaySebastian Gorka mike flynn all of these people have worked with with anti muslim groups and those same groups have have praised the president s agenda on these issues and have actually encouraged the types of steps that that hes taking in the rhetoric that we hear from him on social media and elsewhere rhetoric that is resulting in a real rise in hate crimes against muslims since candidate trump at the u. S. President ial Election Campaign how much is he is he emboldening people would intolerant views do you think. Well weve at least seen a correlation between his rhetoric during the campaign and a major rise in hate crimes in the United States so according to the f. B. I. Which tracks hate crimes against muslims and others we saw a major rise in hate crimes in two thousand and fifteen and two thousand and sixteen which coincided with the Election Campaign and it wasnt only donald trump that was making muslim comments throughout the campaign other candidates as well were casting fear and suspicion on the Muslim Community and ultimately it turned out to be a Winning Strategy because you know the president maintained his has maintained his views through his presidency and hes become the president and he hasnt stopped hes continuing british Prime Minister as weve heard has condemned his retreat retreat and of these videos they were of course originally posted by the deputy leader of a British Group should more leaders do the same do thing to call him out i think so i think we have to be really firm in naming this for what it is and its inciting fear against a religious community when you boil down someones identity to their to their religion and you say that someone is doing a horrible thing because of their faith that casts suspicion on the rest of the Muslim Community and cast them as a threat and the you know in Donald Trumps logic the next step is to ban that entire group of people who practices that religion and so i think we need to be really clear about what whats going on here and name it for what it is the stuff thats very good to have you with us get your thoughts on the strolled into the area the joining us live from washington d. C. Thank you. Im loving life now well number three and tigers playing partner Justin Thomas described him as the greatest of all time well hes not quite hes won fourteen major titles but that still short of a great his goal for in major terms Jack Nicklaus who holds eighteen but would still hold the record for the longest stint as world number one six hundred eighty three weeks are the top of the standings although after his injury problems he slumped way down to one thousand one hundred and ninety nine in the world although hes way ahead of any goal for in career earnings the american has made a whopping one hundred nine point eight Million Dollars on the p. G. A. Tour jason sobel is a senior golf right at e. S. P. N. Dot com hes in the bahamas for this tournament and says that this comeback for woods feels different from all the others. Weve seen joy on a three four five comeback from tiger woods over the years ive lost track what frankly but i think this one is a little bit different and its different in the fact that the other times i saw a focus tiger woods i saw determine tiger woods but i dont see a happy tiger woods and ive always thought tiger woods plays his best golf when hes already smiling he plays when hes relaxed and loose and thats when we get the best tiger and so far this week both in his News Conference following him on the golf course for a couple days i see that smile back it looks like hes playing not for the love of success not for the love of competition certainly not for appeasing the sponsors the player is playing for himself hes playing because he loves the game and wants to get back out there we need to understand that this is a player who although it looks very good on the Practice Range in practice round so for this week he swing it well he looks healthy but we have to lower those expectations because quite frankly tiger is lowering the expectations for himself as well and it doesnt matter necessarily if tiger woods plays or doesnt play and how well he plays but it certainly does matter to the economic benefit of the sport certainly does matter to the industry and it would be a huge benefit to everybody involved if tiger is not just playing but playing very well.
