Alice Eve boards The Queen Mary for new horror from Dracula Untold director
Belgravia’s Alice Eve is set to star in
The Queen Mary, a horror from director Gary Shore (
Dracula Untold) which is intended as the first in a trilogy of films inspired by the hauntings on-board the infamous ocean liner.
“I’m fascinated, obsessed and disturbed by this ship – there’s something very dark and human about her,” said Shore, who is directing the film from a script he’s written with Stephen Oliver and Tom Vaughan. “It’s a stylistic tightrope between reverence and horror.”
“We were immediately obsessed with Gary’s intelligent and twisted multi-film take on a great American legend and could not be more excited working with an extremely gifted actor in bringing this story to audiences around the world,” added Brett Tomberlin, whose Imagination Design Works is producing the movie with White Horse Pictures (
