The grocery store chain Aldi will fill the space in North Bethesda’s White Flint Plaza left by the departure of Shoppers more than a year ago, the property’s landlord announced on Monday.
Combined Properties, the landlord, said in a press release Monday that it had signed a lease with Aldi to occupy a 21,628-square-foot space in part of the old Shoppers building.
The Shoppers store was slightly less than 60,000 square feet, Katie Smith of the public relations firm Maier & Warner wrote in an email.
