(APEC) announced Tuesday the deployment of its personnel to help speed up power restoration in areas devastated by Typhoon Odette. "As a sign of our sincere gratitude and sympathy to our fellow citizens who were tormented by the onslaught of Super Typhoon Odette, we, from APEC will be sending off linemen and technical personnel, bringing with them equipment that will be used to help in the power restorations in areas that were devastated by the storm," a post on the company's social media page said. APEC said Albayanos should be grateful that the province is spared from devastation caused by strong typhoons this year. "This is our chance to give back to all the help we have received all these years. We encourage everyone to join us as we pray for the safety of our team with the rest of our brothers from the power industry," the post read. Meanwhile, APEC said the bill of residential and other low voltage clients consuming 200-kilowatt hour (kWh) electricity or less per month would decrease by at least PHP47.06 this December due to a lower rate in the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM).
