TROY, N.Y. â New York State Police in Brunswick recently arrested Christine M. Werneburg, 50, of Albany. Police said they stopped Werneburg as she traveled on Hoosick Street in the city of Troy, after she attempted to change lanes and almost sideswiped a patrol car.
When the trooper interviewed Werneburg they observed sign of impairment and Werneburg was administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. While performing the tests, Werneburg removed a glass smoking pipe from her shirt and threw it. She is also accused of attempting to ingest a small quantity of crack cocaine in an attempt to destroy the evidence.
