Albania’s Socialist Party (PS) is projected to have won the country’s parliamentary election with 46.9% of the vote, translating to 71 seats in parliament. The opposition Democratic Party (DP) has won 43,5% of the vote, translating to 63 seats, according to the exit polls published by
Social Movement for Integration (LSI) is also projected to enter parliament with 6 seats (6,9%) in the 140-seat parliament. Preliminary turnout was almost 48%, slightly higher than four years ago.
