Alabama begins processing new $300 unemployment boost
The Alabama Department of Labor has begun processing payments for the CARES Act extensions.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - The Alabama Department of Labor has begun processing payments for the CARES Act extensions.
That included the $300 weekly Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation payment.
Claimants who are eligible for these payments will not need to take action other than continuing to file their weekly certifications.
Officials say claimants should expect to see payments as soon as this week, depending on their bank’s policies.
