Al Wathba Fossil Dunes Protected Area opens in UAE

The Al Wathba Fossil Dunes Protected Area, the first of its kind in the UAE and one of the first in West Asia, and comprising more than 1,700 fossil dunes and spread over 7 sq km, has been inaugurated.
