All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF), which is part of the Congress-led alliance in Assam, has shifted its candidates to Congress-ruled Rajasthan over fears that rival parties will try to influence its legislators.
Assam’s three-phase Assembly election ended on April 6. Results will be declared on May 2. Another partner of the Mahajhot (grand alliance), the Bodoland People's Front (BPF), has asked 11 of its candidates to assemble in Kokrajhar.
