With the expansion of the Tepic airport and a new highway that will go directly to some of the state's most popular tourist destinations - including San Blas, Guayabitos, Sayulita, San Pancho and Punta Mita - on the horizon, tourism to the State of Nayarit is expected to increase significantly over the next 5 years.
