Aiken budget to get $20 million boost for mixed-use building | Aiken Area Government

Aiken's budget could soon grow by $20 million as the city moves toward constructing a mixed-use building downtown. The Aiken City Council voted unanimously Monday evening to approve the first reading of an ordinance adding $20 million to the city's budget for the building that could be constructed in the 100 block of Newberry Street.
