AGAWAM — To all you students and teachers booting up the computer this morning for another day of online classes: “Hang in there, we’re almost done.”
That’s the message from Dawn Dube, who, along with all of her colleagues on the School Committee, said on Tuesday she is are “excited” to have all elementary school pupils returning to full-time in-person learning next month.
A state mandate from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education is forcing all school districts in Massachusetts to retire their “hybrid” models — adopted in response to the coronavirus pandemic — and go back to the traditional schedule of in-person classes five days a week.
