After ShotSpotter alert, Plainfield police find two men with gunshot wounds

PLAINFIELD - The Plainfield Police Criminal Investigation Bureau is continuing to investigate a double shooting that occured in the city Saturday. After a report of a ShotSpotter alert at 4:55 p.m., city police found two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds in the area of the 500 block of West Third Street.
One victim is a 25-year-old man with a serious injury, Police Director Lisa Burgess said. The second victim is a 23-year-old man with non-life threatening injuries.
