After shock diagnosis, local family turns to fundraising to help pay medical bills

LOWELL — Robert Morrissette loved his job. For 25 years he worked for the city of Lowell as a foreman roofer, taking care of city and school buildings and fixing leaks as they came up, especially in seasons of extremely heavy rain like last year.
