After record rain, no respite for Chandigarh residents: Water enters houses, road caves in, traffic disrupted

With 302.3 mm of rain in the 24 hours leading up to 8.30 am Sunday, Chandigarh set a record for single-day rainfall. The showers would persist for the whole day, according to Met officials.
