After nearly 20 years, a northeast Oregon theater comes closer to completion

The Gem Theatre in Athena, Oregon, stood empty for 55 years. For the past two decades, a group of residents have raised nearly $2 million and volunteered a countless number of hours to bring the theater back to its former glory.
