After helping dreams come true for swimmers, longtime Peninsula coach gets ready to retire

The longtime coach and leader of the Coast Guard Blue Dolphins (CGBD), a year-round swim team on the Peninsula with more than 400 members, will retire from the profession he has loved since his first coaching jobs in the 1970s.
