IP Infusion, a leading provider of network disaggregation solutions for telecom and data communications operators, today announced that Afribone, a leading Internet service provider in the Republic of Mali in Western Africa, is deploying a disaggregated router solution based on IP Infusion's OcNOS
® network operating system. Afribone is expanding its
multi-protocol label switching (MPLS) network in order to better serve fixed wireless enterprise customers and to provide high availability, carrier-class connectivity to their data centers.
Founded in 1999, Afribone serves local private and public enterprises, including international and national Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO), embassies and several United Nations organizations. In 2020, Afribone's local loop radio distribution network was ranked as the best Internet service provider in the Republic of Mali – West Africa.
