A NEW development to create 24 affordable apartments in Bournemouth is being considered at BCP Cabinet next month.
Subject to planning and Cabinet approval, it is proposed the old buildings at Craven Court, in Knyveton Road, are to be demolished to make way for the block of flats.
The council’s housing development team will develop the new four storey apartment block, which will include 10 one-bed and 14 two-bed apartments complicit with Passive House standards.
Councillor Robert Lawton, Portfolio Holder for Homes: “Our priority is to provide more safe and affordable housing across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole and this scheme presents the opportunity to provide more good quality, well managed homes for local people.
