A mutual love of maths led to Róisín Hill and her daughter Aoife being conferred with Doctor of Philosophy (PhD ) research degrees, funded under the Irish Research Council (IRC ) Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Programme, by the University of Galway at its summer 2023 graduation.
