Aderoluwa Timothy Ademiluyi, 25, has been sentenced to time served and one year of supervised probation for resisting arrest, a Class A misdemeanor. He was sentenced in U.S. District Court after pleading guilty.
The court dismissed a second charge of assaulting an Immigration and Customs Enforcement Deportation Officer against Ademiluyi.
The charges stemmed from an incident in downtown Minot on Feb. 25, 2020.
According to court documents, ICE officers had gone to Ademiluyi’s residence to arrest him for an alleged immigration violation and Ademiluyi resisted arrest. Ademiluyi is originally from Nigeria.
