Acwa Power, a Saudi developer of power and desalination projects, has launched operation at its Haya Power and Desalination Company (Al Dur II IWPP) in Al Dur region of Bahrain. It has a total capacity of 1,500MW and 227,000 cu m/day desalinated water.
