ACMS and ATTSA stage protest, demand wage hike, ST status in Baksa
The activists of ACMS, ATTSA and tea garden labourers gathered at the premises of the office of the Nagrijuli Tea Estate and staged the protest.

BAKSA: Under the patronage of Assam Chah Mazdoor Sangha (ACMS), Nagrijuli Primary Committee of ACMS and Nagrijuli Primary Committee of Assam Tea Tribes Students' Association (ATTSA) on Wednesday staged a two-hour demonstration at Nagrijuli Tea Estate under Tamulpur subdivision in the district of Baksa demanding Scheduled Tribe status, land pattas to the tea garden community and to increase the daily wages upto Rs 351.
