Accusations of political deal-making erupt in State Senate race

Three Democratic Lake County Councilmen are accused of ensuring that they would avoid a GOP opponent in the general election by throwing their support for the First District State Senate seat behind fellow councilman and Lake County GOP chair Dan Dernulc instead of incumbent Democratic State Sen. Michael Griffin.
