Abused by a priest, faced with charges by the cardinal's aids, and kept behind bars without apparent cause

Attila Pető gave truthful testimony that led to the removal of a priest who had previously abused at least 20 minors. Pető wanted to make sure that victims of clerical abuse were treated better in the future. Instead, the Catholic Church and the Hungarian justice system set out to punish him.
