My name is ABRAHAM TELAR. I’m a South Sudanese journalist, blogger, cultural and youth activist and television producer. I have a BA in directing and producing from Sudan University of Science &Technology, Khartoum, 2010. I also hold a Diploma Course Certificate in Development Journalism from Indian Institution of Mass Communication, New Delhi, India 2018.
I have Journalistic skills of reading, writing and speaking in Arabic and English. I have been in the media field for last ten years practicing journalism as a profession. This has given me the opportunity of working in different media houses.
I started with Canari for Media & Advertising as a part timer in their marketing department (2008-2009). In 2010, I join South Sudan Television as an intern, contributor and later as full staff. I also write articles for some newspapers and websites. All these I combine with being a blogger as well as head of cultural deportment and editor for two Arabic newspapers. I have also worked with some private television stations like 360 AFRICA TV, where I worked as the head of program department.
