ROCKFORD — A global aerospace company is announcing plans to add up to 250 maintenance technician jobs at the Chicago Rockford International Airport.
AAR Corp. has signed a multiyear agreement to perform airframe maintenance on United Airlines’ narrow-body aircraft fleet at AAR’s maintenance, repair and overhaul facility at RFD.
“We are excited to expand our partnership with United Airlines and the city of Rockford,” AAR President and CEO John Holmes said in a news release. “We began operations in Rockford four years ago and have built a track record of solid performance. We are very proud to have secured this long-term contract with United.”
