A small Elgin church with a big heart is celebrating its 60th anniversary

For its 60th anniversary, Christ the Lord Lutheran in Elgin is raising funds for Hanover Landing, a new residence for individuals with dealing with homelessness or mental health issues. So far, this small congregation has raised almost $23,000.
