Who Is JOB days. It’s true. But Jamie’s surfing has always been there, to bring even the most anti-reality show fans back for more shredding and anchoring his antics to the ocean.
Recently, those fine performance surfing skills haven’t been as front and center in his vlog episodes. Sure, he could still ride a barrel (which we’d take). But the snap wasn’t quite there. That’s because he went under the knife in April to repair a knee injury suffered at Pipeline, but probably exacerbated by years of abuse. Jamie’s usual video-part-esque segments disappeared for a bit. But in this episode, we get a glimpse, and proof that Jamie’s definitely on the mend. He tows finless magician Brad Domke into some Mexican beach break, which is entertaining on its own, before tearing into a couple of walls himself. Good to see ya back, kid!
