A new police force will be called in to review the Met Police's handing of any new evidence in the Stephen Lawrence case in a huge embarrassment for under fire commissioner Sir Mark Rowley

Stephen Lawrence, 18, an aspiring architect, was murdered on his way home in an unprovoked attack by a gang of racists in Eltham, south-east London, in April 1993.
