A new dataset of Arctic images will spur artificial intelligence research

The U.S. Coast Guard icebreaker Healy will capture images of the Arctic to further the study of this rapidly changing region with a camera installed by MIT Lincoln Laboratory researchers. The resulting dataset will be used to develop artificial intelligence tools that can analyze Arctic imagery.
